Key City Foundation began as the Reindeer Games Lacrosse League in 2018—a men’s box lacrosse league created to raise funds for Blessings in a Backpack and the Walkersville High Boys' Lacrosse team.
Following the league’s success, we recognized a much larger gap in youth sports access due to financial and cultural barriers. Many families faced prohibitive costs, while perceived cultural differences and sports stigmas kept others from participating.
This inspired the creation of Key City Athletics Foundation, with the ambitious mission of providing free, competitive-level sports in exchange for community service and leadership development. Our goal is to give aspiring athletes not only the opportunity to improve their skills but also the guidance and mentorship needed to become a positive force in the community that -
- Lives with purpose and integrity
- Embodies compassion and strength
- Strives for personal excellence and growth
- Cultivates character and responsibility
- Lives a life of service and empathy
- Builds a foundation of respect and perseverance
