At Key City Foundation, we believe a little support can make a world of difference. Since 2018, we've been committed to creating meaningful impact by bringing fresh ideas and passion to everything we do. Through our efforts, we aim to reflect the strength of our convictions.
IMPACTING LIVES
The Key City Athletics Foundation is pioneering the future of youth sports and community giving, starting with Key City Lacrosse. Our mission is to expand this model to other sports, providing high-level competition at significantly reduced costs and offering scholarships—so finances are never a barrier to participation. We’re seeking players with strong values and an exceptional work ethic.

Key City Foundation is dedicated to enriching our community with top-tier coaching, exceptional athletes, and a focus on service. Our goal is for every participant to leave our programs as better athletes, leaders, and community members. We believe true success lies in striving to be better than you were yesterday. Less than 38% of kids ages 6 to 12 play team sports on a regular basis.
By age 10.5, many kids stop playing sports. High costs and the quality of coaching are big reasons why. How we coach kids ages 6 to 12 can shape their future. Our program creates a fun, supportive community for all skill levels at a much lower cost. We aim to keep more kids in sports each year with great coaching and an affordable model.
Youth sports is now an estimated $17 billion industry, largely driven by the increasing costs of travel teams.
Parents spend thousands on club sports, but only 2% of student-athletes get college scholarships. Most of the value comes from the friendships and experiences. Our programs are significantly more affordable, and we work to ensure that every child can play, no matter their financial situation.
33% of our athletes are on a scholarship or payment program.
Thanks to our donors, sponsors, and fundraising, 33% of our athletes play through scholarships or payment help. This support lets every child enjoy sports, grow as leaders, and give back to the community. Together, we’re making sure money isn’t a barrier for anyone.
